Crusty the Clown

Utah > Southeast Utah > Kane Springs Canyon
Warning Access Issue: RAIN, WET ROCK and RAPTOR CLOSURES: The sandstone around Moab is fragile and is very easily damaged when it is wet. Also please ask and be aware of Raptor Closures in areas such as CAT WALL and RESERVOIR WALL in Indian Creek DetailsDrop down

Description

This is another short, loose tower up Kane creek.

Getting There

About 2 miles past Kane Creek on your way to Hurrah Pass you will see some towers on the west side of the road. Pull off of the road in any spot where you can more easily climb onto the continuous ledge system that flanks the road. Once you get onto that plateau, you can walk a short distance to Homer and Marge. Crusty the clown is 100 feet west of Homer and Marge.

[Hide Comment] a little crusty, but thats why we love it. added a nice chunk of rope to the anchor. # 40 for bondo, in 11 months of climbing. nice job on the sharp end T. the 10b seems a bit doubtful. 5.8 A0 Apr 10, 2013
