Description Suggest change

The Special Spot is a sunny crag home to a half-dozen routes, almost exclusively 5.9 and 5.10. Most of these climbs need supplemental gear, and some require two ropes for descent. The are some very unique and enjoyable lines here, including The Javelin, the climb which graces the cover of the Kramar guidebook.

Getting There Suggest change

From Clem's Holler, hike left along the sometimes primitive trail, continuing past Retardent rock. About 40 minutes from the car, and 15-20 minutes from Clem's Holler.
