There are many seasonal raptor closures with varying dates and specific boundaries. These generally effect The Monument, Kiss of the Lepers, Picnic Lunch Wall and/or Smith Rock group, and possibly elsewhere. These usually run from February to the beginning of August, but each closure is usually shorter than this, and is dependent on the birds' behavior. Description

A dimunitive little band of basalt that contains a handful of moderate trad climbs.

Getting There

Just upstream from the Student Wall. Cross the main bridge below the parking area, take a right on the path and follow it around the big bend in the river to the Student wall, then continue a bit farther upstream.
