The routes on The Ripple Wall were closed due to rockfall from above.
June 25, 2019: per Stewart M. Green: the only route that is closed on the wall is Storm Surge, which is closed indefinitely due to continued rockfall.
Description
Ripple Wall is a 125 foot cliff on the east side of the Red Rocks Canyon Open Space. It's made entirely of sandstone, and has about 11 well-routed sport climbs. The belay can stand just off the trail on almost all of the routes. While it's rarely windy in Red Rocks Canyon, rain does make the sandstone gritty, so just be aware. Being the eastern face, there is a lot of sun after noon; however, on good, cooler days, it is awesome climbing.
Getting There
