Description
This is a broad, low, smooth formation that is clearly visible from Quail Springs Road/Park Boulevard to the left of Dihedral Rock. Glory Dome has an obvious, pointed boulder on the summit.
There are at least six routes on the aspect facing the road and a handful of shorter climbs facing away from the road.
Getting There
The formation is located about 50 yards to the east (left) of Dihedral Rock, on the same side of Quail Springs Road/Park Boulevard.
Park in the paved pullout on the south side of Quail Springs Road as for the Cathouse and Playhouse Rock. Walk along the edge of the road toward Hidden Valley and shortly you'll reach a climbing access trail that leads toward Dihedral Rock. About 20 yards before Dihedral Rock, take the left delineated trail that parallels the road. This fork will lead around a clump of oaks. Turn right and scramble up to the base of the rock.
