Description
Casino cliffs is the first major climbing area at Jacks Canyon you'll come to and is immediately across the canyon from the bottom of the access trail from the campsites. With morning sun and afternoon shade you can always pick the right season here. Grades of all abilities and typically great solid rock and well protected routes makes this a great area for climbers wanting variety but expect a social gathering. Fairly well protected from the common winds as a bonus!! Have Fun
Getting There
From the campsites, follow the access trail down into the canyon. Once at the bottom, go straight across the canyon floor and wash to the Casino Cliffs. Total approach time from the campsites should be no more than about 10 minutes and only one minute once at the bottom of the canyon. You'll find yourself right in front of the routes "I am Pokey" 5.8 and "Gumby" 5.5.
