The Camel. Ali Baba 5.10b** is a fun route up steep rock with great holds. It goes up the middle of the Camel's neck. A good TR wall is on the backside (out of view) of the Camel's body.<br>

[Hide Comment] Directions for finding The Camel and Teaching Rock:
From the Bear Gulch Parking Lot, start at Moses Spring trailhead. Hike 0.1 mi, turn right onto High Peaks trail, hike 0.3 mi, then left on the Rim Trail. Follow Rim Trail approx 0.2 mi to The Camel. Side trail shoots off to the left (25 yards) for an easy walk up to the top of the camel hump, aka Teaching Rock. You will see Teaching Rock easily from the trail. Dec 1, 2008

[Hide Comment] Thanks to the FA and to whoever rebolted Ali Baba on the Camel. I went last Sunday with some friends and had a great time! Technically the rock the Camel is just the head of the camel and Teaching Wall (Top Rope Wall) is the body and hump of the camel. Feb 24, 2021
