Description

With superb rock quality and interesting, varied, one pitch routes of moderate grades, it's easy to see why this area is so popular. It is also a popular top roping and warmup area.

Steppenwolf is the crag's classic offwidth with a hidden hold and an interesting crack to face climbing finish.

Getting There

Once you get to the saddle between Turkey Rocks and Turkey Tail, turn left, and follow the trail to this area.

Not sure if this belongs in the forum or in the route-beta area. For me, it feels like a beta Q, but please let me know if this is better served in the other area, so that I post up questions in the right place next time.

Anyhow, we top-roped a slabby, water run-off looking thing this weekend between Reefer Madness and Ragger Bagger and are just wondering if anyone knew anything about the route.

Feel free to post here or email me if the route history isn't worth spraying about on the web.

Thanks! Oct 10, 2010

Has anyone climbed the numerous cracks up-hill and right of LHJ? They seem short for the most part but also seem to have atleast a 15-30' section that looks really enjoyable. Does anyone know if they are worth your time and how hard they are? Aug 24, 2008
