Description
The Lost Bandana Area is probably the most popular spot to climb on Little Granite Mountain. For the purposes of this database, I'm including Lost Bandana Wall, The Cone, and Dueling Banjos in this section.
All the routes in this area, except for Dueling Banjos, are south facing and the area gets bathed in sun, so it's good for those winter days when everything else is cold. Conversely, you don't want to be here when you're wondering if it's too hot to climb or not.
The highlights of the area are the ever-challenging Spectrum (5.7) and the nice crystal and edge pulling of LAWless and Free (5.9+) just to it's right.

Getting There
From the Granite Mountain TH off 136th Street, head west through the horse trailer parking to the Powerline Trail. Hike west to it's intersection with the Granite Mountain Trail (~0.6 mi). Make a right onto the Granite Mountain Trail and hike that for ~0.3 miles to it's intersection with the Granite Mountain Loop Trail. Make a left onto the GMLT and hike that trail around to the west and north for about 0.4 miles to a point more or less below the Cone and Lost Bandana Wall formations. Follow a climber's trail that leads from the GMLT up to the base of the wall.
1.4 miles total, 30-45 minute walk, mostly easy with a short grunt up the hill to the crag.
