Do yourself a favor and hit El Cajon mountain. I really enjoyed multi-pitch face climbing on this mountain. Jul 29, 2010

I just booked a trip to S.D. for February 18-24, 2011 and I'd like to do some climbing (limited--my wife's not into it). I see that there are some boulders in the area but I'd also like to do a bit of sport climbing and I'm not crazy enough to free solo. What with luggage limitations, I'll only have room for shoes, chalk, and maybe a harness. Is there a good climbing gym where I might find some people heading out to J-Tree or other crags? We'll be staying on Sail Bay. Thanks. Nov 5, 2010
Hello my name is Lange jeffries and just moved here from Salt lake city. Been climbing 26 years all sorts. Looking for a room to rent in the San dieago area and cool partners. Please Email me at sideshowlange@yahoo.com if anyone can help out. Pass the word not looking for anything fancy. Thanks Mar 24, 2011

In response to the above post, we hope to organize Paint Free Santee II later in 2017 when it cools off! We've bought new equipment, and are ready to rock and roll!

In the meantime, there will be a presentation on climbing in The Needles June 29th at 730pm at the Mesa Rim CoWorking Center if you're interested in attending:
