Description Suggest change

Each year this ice forms but is not as interesting as the other flows in the canyon. It is more of a novelty....

Anyway, a short (about 15 foot) fall is easy to toprope and the ice on the north bank is a great beginner spot--plastic ice and low angle. If you lower down all the way to the creek at the farthest downstream patch of ice, you can get some vertical and chandeliered ice for about 10-12 feet.

FWIW, there are some lines up to 80 feet, for the creative, here.

Getting There Suggest change

Take the north entrance and park in the farthest lot to the south. Hike along the creek trail until you see the falls. Easy.
