Description
This is the largest boulder in this area. It also offers some good lines. The landings are awesome, and there are also some good views of the Collegiate Peaks. It is a worthy boulder to climb if you're in the area.
Getting There
From the US Highway 24 and US 285 intersection (just south of Buena Vista), go south and look for Chaffe County Road 301 on the left hand side of the road. Turn onto 300, and go for a half mile and turn right on to Chaffe County Road 301 (easier than it sounds.) Drive on this for a couple of miles until you can see the Buena Boulder on the left side by a large dead tree. Please respect private property. There are also many other smaller boulders here.
