Description

This rock only has three routes on it, and is worth looking at if the nearby Animal World is crowded. The rock is 75 feet tall, but topropes are not easily set up as the anchors lie about 10 feet below the top.

Getting There

From the base of the Upper Animal World cliff, walk right until you reach the end of the cliff. Head up the hill at this point, and make your way slightly to the right. The Zoo lies about 150 yards from the Upper Animal World cliff. It is farily well hidden by trees, but an intrepid bushwacker should have no trouble finding it.

Summer shade after 2 p.m. The 11c and 12a, which finish at the same anchor, are quite nice. Aug 7, 2011
Very tranquil location. There is a faint trail from Upper Animal that keeps the bushwack factor low. Nov 7, 2004
