Idaho > S Idaho > City of Rocks
Warning Access Issue: (1) Weather Wall, Yellow Wall, & all the crags north of Twin Sisters are CLOSED. (2) No trash cans. (3) Highlining temporary ban in place for CIRO and CRSP DetailsDrop down

Description

Mostly short easy topropes, and a cinch to set up, this is an excellent place to take beginners. If you are planning on spending a Saturday toproping somewhere, please go here instead of Elephant Rock.

Getting There

It is campsite 11 that is sheltered on three sides by this rock. On the west face are the climbs. The east face (down through the camp) offers the easiest descent and access to the topropes. Please be courteous to people camping in this campsite.

[Hide Comment] Can be crowded on weekends. Very popular for families with children. Get there early and enjoy the shade till Noon. Jun 24, 2015

[Hide Comment] This is an excellent set of routes for a bad weather day with easy access from around the back to TR. You will need trad gear to set these up as only two of the routes have DBAs. Sep 15, 2022
