Description
This area faces the northeast and is relatively isolated. The approach requires 20-30 minutes of loose hiking and results in a reward of 5 routes. All trad with 2 consisting of some fixed gear.
Getting There
Park at Stairs Gulch and clamber up the the side of the steep slope on the SW of where the stream crosses the road. Follow the trail to the fork and take the left fork. To your right is Challenge buttress, stay on the trail til you can cross over to the gully next to challenge. Clamber up this loose slope until Talk Buttress is attained. It consists of obvious right trending cracks. Locate it. The first time I aimed for this spot, I missed the gully and wound up at Glass Ocean. Still had fun.
