DescriptionThe north pillar of Big Chief used to hold only one route - a bolted .10a of the same name, but that route no longer has bolts. Instead, two 12's have been bolted about 100 feet further north.
They both start off a ledge about 20 feet of 5.3 off the trail. They are slightly overhung with tricky hands and both have chains atop them.
The left-most one can be toproped by soloing 5.7 or trad leading the dirty dihedral (gear to 2 inches) just left of the bolted face.
