Description
This trad dome feels of the Sierra, though it's in the Cascades. At about 1,000 feet tall, there are routes for climbers of all abilities on all sides of the rock. The climbing and rock are in some cases excellent, and in other cases quite terrifying.
All routes decend via the hiking trail, which is a 15 minute third class scramble down some frictiony surfaces on the West side of the rock heading back to the observation deck.
There are no access issues, and you can camp close by if you don't feel like making the trek back to the car at night.
Getting There
Many routes start on the other side of the rock, and there are many approaches and strategies to getting to those.
