Description Suggest change

This is the area located on the tier above Hidden Falls. Routes include Bighorn Buttress and Beau Geste.

Getting There Suggest change

There are a few options for the approach. The scramble up the ledges to the right of Black Track concludes with about 20' of 5.7 soloing on dusty patina. There was formerly a rope ladder, with an anchor girthed around the chock stone, but that has rotted away. If you are small enough you'll be able to fit through the small hole at the top, otherwise you need to step into the void out right to gain the next ledge. Not for the faint of heart, especially with with a heavy pack. Would recommend the gully on the east end of the canyon above Heatwave, or even safer (but longer) scramble up to the right of Ragged Edges, then back south, and then west, back above the north walls of the lower canyon.
