Hoyt Park Shelter

Description

Hoyt Park is a very nice wooded park area and I went to middle school right next to the park. They have two shelters worth bouldering. The upper shelter is packed with little edges and crimps that you will need climbing shoes with. The lower shelter is a packed playground of 4 walls with good edges and some big ledges perfect for a traverse. There is also tons of hiking all around the park.

Getting There

The Hoyt Shelter is located at 3902 Regent Street. If you are standing at the upper shelter looking down the hill, walk about 1500 feet down the hill to the right behind the baseball field and the lower shelter is right there.
