Description

The Monolith Area is a really nice bouldering area with numerous quality problems.

Getting There

To get to the Monolith Area from the North Shore, start off on the East Bluff Trail and hike about 1/2 mile. There will be a slight dip in the trail. The Monolith problems will be on either side of the trail at this point.

You need to hike up the east bluff trail starting from the North Shore. It appears you started at the CCC lot on the south end. Sep 23, 2005
while on my last trip to DL, i vaguely looked for the monolith problems, but did not find them on the trail up to the east bluffs. was it by the gastly john gill problem; the small seam with a few crimpers? Sep 23, 2005
