Description
Jimmy Cliff is a largish formation on the outskirts of the Lost Horse Area with a number of bolted and gear protected routes. The excellent but short Friendly Hands (5.10b) is located on the east face and is clearly visible from the approach in. Another notable route is the three star Peanut Gallery (5.11b) located on the west face.
The east and west facing routes can be rappeled (from the top of Friendly Hands) or a walk off exists down the north end of the west face.
Getting There
Jimmy Cliff is about 2/3 of a mile south of the parking for the Atlantis Area, located on the road to Lost Horse Ranger Station. Park as far along this road as possible and hike south towards the obvious formation off in the distance. The leftward curving crack Friendly Hands is easy to identify.
