Description
This is a popular bouldering destination and has many good problems as well as the classic JBMFP (John Bachar Memorial Face Problem), one of the Top 10 classic boulder problems in the Park. Some of the fun problems here include
False Up 20 (5.9) a highball lieback flake up a vertical face,
True Grit (V3) a sloping arete to rockover topout, Razarium (V5) a thin face with crisp sidepulls and
JBMFP (V5) the CLASSIC thin face problem.
Getting There
Located across the road from the world famous Double Cross (5.7+). This area will be on the right (west) when driving into the Park from the town of Joshua Tree, and will be obvious when the large formation of Intersection Rock comes into view.
John Bachar, 1957-2009
