Description

This crag features a prominent dihedral formed by a triangular block that is detached from a larger rock directly south of The Corrugated Wall. Three quality routes were recently established here. My Helmet Is Bigger Than Your Helmet (5.10d) ascends the offwidth crack in the middle of the dihedral. Behind the dihedral in a small cove are two other routes. One Size Doesn't Fit All (5.10b) is a 1'- 2' wide chimney to offwidth crack. White Noise (5.11a) is an offwidth crack in a left facing corner.

The crag and routes are dedicated to Murf; a talented climber with a capacious cranium.

Getting There

If entering The Valley of Kings from Rattlesnake Canyon, The Featherless Peacock Crag is easily seen directly east of The Helmet on the middle of the hillside. Walk east across the valley and scramble over boulders to the crag.
