This rock is a 45-foot freestanding pillar; the rock is excellent for the most part, and easy on the hands, smooth as a baby's ass. It offers great picture opportunities at sunrise and sunset; for the most part the rock is in the sun for most of the day so at least during the summer early morning and late afternoons are best.
Park at the last loop in Jumbo Rocks campground and hike south as for the approach to the east-facing Zebra Cliffs, aim yourself towards large hill to the east of the Zebra Cliffs. When you reach the base of the hill, hike around to the south side and the rock should come into view - it's a very obvious pillar of dark rock standing away from the hillside.
