Description
One of the closest rocks to the road with a quick approach by North Wonderland standards, this collection of small crags and rocks features some pretty high quality, if short routes. Highlights include Baby Roof (5.7), Aftermath (5.10a), Foreign Legion (5.10b), Geometry (5.11a) and Arms Are For Hugging (5.11a).
Getting There
Start at the Boy Scout/Willow Hole Trailhead approximately 1 mile east to the intersection with the Old Wonderland Trail. From this intersection (a sign here stating that the Old Wonderland Trail from that point south is closed for revegetation), walk approximately 100 yards north and Ellesmere Island will be readily apparent on your right, discernable by several roofs on faces a short distance up the hillside. Be sure to find the very well developed/defined trail leading from the Old Wonderland Trail up to the crag and use it to prevent trail braiding (the creation of many new small trails that is harmful and unsightly).
