Description

Up and right from the Dairy Queen Wall is this nicely featured wall with a good assortment of mostly crack routes and the odd face climb. Highlights here include Tax Man (5.10a) and Alf's Arete (5.11a). Morning sun and afternoon shade.

Getting There

Approach as for the Dairy Queen Wall but head up and right through boulders following a worn path to the base of the wall. Plan on a 15-25 minute approach from the car.

[Hide Comment] The start of the scramble up to the wall can be hard to find. If you don't start in far enough left, you'll wind up a tier or two below the proper base of the climbs. We found a good place to start up in a small wash between two boulders, one on the left with a hueco shaped a bit like the McDonald's arches, and one on the right shaped like a large egg. You might not be able to find this exact starting point, but here's my takeaway advices: go pretty far to the left before you start up the ramp. Jan 29, 2018

[Hide Comment] The top of the right side of the wall (Tax Man and Bunny routes) can be accessed by going right from the base up the gulley and then make a U turn and go up the 4th class / easy 5th shoulder of the wall to the second tier (where H&R block is), which can then be easily climbed via a 6' crack to the top of the formation, continue on top to anchors by the tree.
