Description

The Titanic is a massive clump with only a handful of routes clustered on its south end. It is notable for the mind-boggling roof crack Castaway splitting the underside of the boulder leaning against the southeast face. Sinbad the Sailor is a fabulous finger crack excursion through three tiers on the face just to the west. Don't Ask, Don't Tell mixes it up on the southwest face with a funky trad crack to a six-bolt sport face on the vertical wall above.

Each of these routes is worth the hike, and doing all three in a day will leave you ready for an evening in the hot tubs down in Desert Hot Springs.

Getting There

The Titanic is the biggest clump in the middle of the Virgin Islands East, with a large flat-bottomed boulder spanning the gully below the southeast face. Scramble up toward the boulder from the west to access the routes.
