Description

Formations included here include the namesake Houser Buttress , the smaller Dodo Buttress just to the right, the seldom visited Houser Gully and just to the west the small Houser Block.

Some of the more popular climbs here include All Booked Up (5.6), Lucky Lady (5.8), Dummy's Delight (5.9), Loose Lady (5.10a), Ladyfingers (5.10b) and Hidden Arch (5.11d).

Getting There

A well-marked trail starting from the Real Hidden Valley parking lot leads west along the southern edge of the rocky hillside directly to the Houser Buttress Area. Plan on about 5 minutes for the walk plus a bit more time to reach the base of your chosen route.
