Description
Sledgehammer has a very high concentration of routes on it. It almost feels like a giant boulder, but all routes need to be roped. Routes range from very well protected bolted routes, to trad routes, to bold non-protected face climbing. Fixed anchors are available for most climbs.
Getting There
Follow the area directions to the main area near Turtle Rock. When you are at the viewpoint mentioned, walk down towards Turtle Rock. Sledgehammer is hard to pick out at this point, but it will be apparent when you near it. It is a giant triangular-shaped boulder with routes on all sides.
