Approach to Garc Onilom

Look for an opening in the trees on the far side of the highway. Head up the initial. boulder strewn, steep-ish slope toward a rock outcropping (visible from the highway). Pass it on hiker's left, then, describe a line along the path of least resistance sticking more-or-less with the ridge line and following intermittent deer/game trails.
