Approach from Hamm Creek Park

The approach is anywhere from 25-50 minutes, depending on your comfort with the terrain (Jim's PR is 20 minutes at a slow run for reference). As long as you stay on the main trail it's pretty casual, but getting off the trail will leave you in thick thorns and brush. Once you've reached the steep incline, there is a rope for those less comfortable ascending/descending steep terrain. The trail to Elm Hollow from Carrion is under development and will be up soon!
