Approach to Piranha Flats - West

From the left side of the Nautilus roof, follow a trail through a couple trees and head right and scramble up the rocky wash/gully (several cairns mark the way). Once you can see the large walls/boulders, head left across a wide slab. The area consists of the first four "walls" from there and heading south, plus a large freestanding boulder that the trail goes around. The trail shown here ends at the passage way that has the furthest south problems and leads on to Piranha Flats - East area if you continue to the east to the next freestanding boulders.
