Approach to Eagle Peak - Left Wall

About 0.5 miles in you leave the 3-sisters trail and continue straight past a wood post on a smaller trail. Less than 1-mile later, at a slab with red "WAC PAC" graffiti, we took a left and went through a saddle. The trail is very clear up until this point. As it descends the side of the mountain, it becomes a rather eroded trail down to the base with many possible forks. I'm not sure this is the intended way down, but it's the most obvious we could find. If somebody local knows better please help us update the last bit of this!
