Descent
Follow the Buzzard's Roost approach, when the trail crosses Sandy Creek, turn right and follow the left bank of the creek for a little over 0.1 mile until you meet the wash/creek on the left flowing into Sandy Creek. Look for the rough trail that goes over the wash/creek mouth, to the right of a large boulder, moving up slope and to the right through the trees, until you can see an easy rock slope upwards. Turn left onto that rock slope and climb up to the three large boulders, then move left around them to the Southeast face.
