Approach to Mt. Katsu (Katsuyama)

From the Parking area, hike downhill untill you reach the bottom. The road will split in at a concrete workshop, follow the left fork. The road should have a metal rail on the left side with fruit trees. the rail will have a small split with metal bridge on the left (look for tombs). Turn right onto a dirt drive way (electric pole on the corner) and walk the dirt road/driveway avoiding the first left untill the road makes a sharp right turn. There is a sign on the road to the right that says "This is not Mountain Trail". Turn left so a garden will be on your right side and the riverbed will be on your left side. Follow the trail as it winds its way up the riverbed. There will come a point in the trail where it goes uphill and to the right of the riverbed then returns to the riverbed above what used to be a waterfall. Here there will be stacked rocks on the left hand side that leads to middle earth and the perch. If you continue straight you'll go to lost world.
