Descent
About 1/4 mile east from the TM Lodge, jump on the Dog Lake/Young Lakes Trail and hike north. Once you crest at the saddle, hang a left onto a mellow rock slab and walk the slab west. Before you get to the main Dog Dome slab hang a right (north) down a gully to reach the base of the north face. Traverse west to the base of the climb. This approach avoids disturbing the meadow/pond and sensitive wetlands near the base of the climb.
