Approach to Malibu Lieback Area

Park the parking lot just south of the piuma turnoff, walk along las virgenes (preferably on the west side of the road), and then to another pullout (no parking). This pullout should have an transformer box with a ballard and you'd want to go down the steep hill from here. Once in the canyon, make a right (downstream) and walk maybe 100 feet to the large boulder with a flat and sandy landing.
