The Zone of Silence is an isolated wall left of the Bauhaus. It presently has one route, Fat Tongue.

Getting There

At the moment, there is no easy way to approach this wall; however, a better trail may be in the works for the future.

Cross the bridge to the Bauhaus and take a left. After about 100 yards, you can either stay low and bushwhack up to the wall or take an unpleasant scree field up to it.

Originally rated 12a, holds may have broken and presently it sits around 12c. It's burly right off the ground all the way to the 3rd bolt. Expect good holds facing the wrong direction and feet not where you would want them. ...[more]   Browse More Classics in CO
