Kinda more like an 8 if you ask me and there are biner's up there that are about worn through. I wouldn't trust em but a lot of people do. Didn't have any to replace either.

I agree with the Jason Stevens guidebook: one of the best 5.9's in the canyon! Might be an 8+, but it's a fun route nonetheless.

Good introduction to Maple Canyon. First lead in the area. Went in late October, got good grip on the shoes but the rock was a bit cold! Fun route for sure!
