Description

ILLEGAL, but that has never stopped anyone. If you are staff expect a good firing for getting caught. If you are not staff, expect prosecution for trespassing. It'S been over a decade since I did this route so follow beta at your own risk!
P1: Start left of the big dihedral, but right of the big roofs. Good flaring cracks to a good belay ledge.
P2: Follow more good cracks that hook left at the top, crux. Go to good ledge.
P3: Angle eases the higher you get continue following good cracks. Go to good ledge.
P4: By this time climbing eases to 5.4-5.6. Keep following cracks to the top, drop gear before the kids see you.

Location

Head to the left of the big dihedral, pass the large roofs on the right. Tuck away your gear and walk off the back. Don't forget to bring a pack that will conceal your gear!

Protection

I saw nothing as far as fixed gear, but have heard rumors of some bolts. Standard rack should work.

If you are planning on this being your last year working at Philmont and it is near the end of the summer then DO IT! Well worth the risk of getting fired. Quality route and a great way to end a career at Philmont. I would love to see some topo's of other routes if anyone has any.
