I'm heading to Davis for grad school. I'll have ~10+ days to tear it up in the northern California area before classes get started. I'm looking for a partner (or partners) who are similarly inclined to do some excellent climbing. I'll have all my gear and a car.

My preferences would be long alpine moderates (5.7-5.10a), but about anything from multipitch trad to even peak-bagging (class 3 and up scrambling stuff, 14ers or whatever) would be cool. I don't really want to boulder or sport climb.
Alternatively, I'd be game to learn some aid climbing, but I don't have much aid experience...

Highlights of the rap sheet, in case you need a background check...
I've been to Yos and done some of the classics - E. Butt. of El Cap, N.E. Butt of Higher Cat, E. Butt of Middle Cat, Serenity to Sons, Central Pillar, some stuff in Tuolumne including Matthes Crest, Regular route and lucky streaks on Fairview Dome, etc.
And I've done a good bunch of alpine-style stuff, mostly in colorado, including a bunch of 14ers and playing around in the RMNP, Eldo, and some snow/ice couloirs in the Sangre de Cristos. Also spent some time in Wind Rivers WY and had an amazing time on E. Ridge of Wolf's head and NE Face of Pingora. Lots of other stuff elsewhere.

Generally, I'm just psyched to climb and want to get in a solid trip before I am again relegated to weekend warrior status. Let me know if this sounds good to you, or if you have some route/destination suggestions.
Thanks.
Cliff

"Cliff" is a good name for a rock climber. :) Just as good would be a guy named "Rock."

Hey Cliff, I'm going to be in Tuolumne and have a camp site for Sep 16th and 17th. All my partners backed out so if you wanna climb I'm down. I can lead 9's and follow 10's have a nice rack n all. I'm also interested in learning some aide if you wanna mess around and try and figure out some systems. I just have the weekend so I'd rather stick to free climbing trad as opposed to alpine. Totally understand if you wanna stay in the Valley or climb with someone closer to your level. Hit me up five10,291,four175.
