I am going to be in/around the Valley May 25 to June 15 and am looking for partners with whom to climb.
I am 61 years old and currently lead trad 5.7-5.8 in the Gunks, Seneca, New Hampshire. I climbed from 1963 to 1972, mostly in the east but also Yosemite, Cascades and Tetons. I took 30+ years off for career and family, getting back into the sport two and a half years ago at the instigation of my older daughter who is now among my climbing partners. I have plans to meet up with one climbing friend for part of my time in Yosemite, but most of my regular partners can't make it because they still work for a living (I'm retired). So I need to find some additional folks to climb with during my upcoming Yosemite adventure.
I am interested in doing some easy/moderate free routes (e.g., after six, bishops terrace, snake dike, nutcracker, etc.) and possibly with the right partner a "little" big wall (e.g., South Face of Washington Column; I have some aid experience but not a lot).
