Description

Named for the explorer, John C. Fremont. He climbed it in 1842, believing it to be the highest peak in the Rockies.
Fremont is a beautiful peak offering routes up to grade IV.
It is the second highest in the Wind River Range.

Getting There

Follow the Titcomb Basin approach to Titcomb Lakes.
Easily approached by heading east from Titcomb Lakes, passing Mistake Lake, which is full of Golden Trout, or was last time that I was there.
