Description

Shart Attack is a short, little flare below Hypertension. If you are into poorly protected, not quite vertical, flared tips cracks then you will probably like this one. Be forewarned... this crack is fun, but by no means is it worth the walk just to do it. If you need a good warm-up for Hypertension or you just got shut down and are trying to salvage your day then get on it. It is very similar to Flare Thee Well, but the jams are worse and the gear is thinner.

Location

From the base of Hypertension, look in the drainage behind you. You could hit the climb with a rock. It is on a tombstone shaped rock that is obscured by trees. SA is obvious when in front of it. A few bouldery face moves lead to the flare.

Protection

Nothing bigger than a yellow Alien. Heavy on the RPs and tiny TCUs. Don't expect to place a lot of cams. Very easy to toprope.
