Description 

A prominence of immaculate granite dominated by it's namesake climb, Hypertension. Nice and shady on hot summer afternoons. Gets more wind due to it's exposure.

Getting There 

This cirque is located on the north east side of the top of turtle rock. To get there head toward Land of the Rising Moon, as per the description for LOTRM, but instead of heading up to the saddle between Turtle Rock and Glenn Dome cut right and up slabs to the top of Turtle Rock. Staying right, walk across the top of Turtle Rock, and head left. The strikingly beautiful Hypertension will soon come into view. You'll know it when you get there.

Splitter boulder problem. Starts out as thin fingers and slowly widens to tight hands. Suprisingly, this crack is unpublished, though it is one of Vedauwoos oldest boulder problems.
