Description
Holy Saturday is host to a number of 5.11s, and one moderate 5.8+. All are very easy to locate using the Heel and Toe guide.
Getting There
Go 0.6 of a mile after making the turn towards the central area, turn left (south) and go to the parking area at the road's end (Heel and Toe). Head west on the Turtle Rock trail, and in 10 minutes you'll see a huge piece of rock with a big chimney on the R third. That's it. There is a bolted anchor to the right of this chimney, or walk off to the NW.
About a third of the way into the crag (from the right) is this large and distinctive crack. From the ground, it looks like it has an offwidth crux, but in reality the crack opens up inside to allow the passage of all but the most oversized. Juggy, but with good jams too....[more]

The top rap station on Holy Saturday is a UV ticking time bomb wrapped around a weird chockstone. If you are up there, consider beefing up the anchor with some new webbing or re-evaluating the anchor altogether.
Jackie; back in 1999 the rap station was reset with Metolius Rap Bolts. What happened to them? They should be at the edge of the formation, where the "Flake" rt. meets the top. There might even be the very old - from 1968 - 1/4" bolt with bent hanger. RSVP - Jay J
