Description

North facing overhung boulder. Never sees sun. Last I remember, I thought it was a type of limestone. The boulder has never been climbed. I spent days just cleaning dirt out of all the holds and finding loose holds. VERY VIRGIN! But be super careful, I had a couple holds explode on me! So just be sure to look over the holds well before you really crank it.

Getting There

From Jackson Hole:
Take US 189 South for about 13 miles until you come to Hoback Junction. Take left hand turn onto US 191 (towards Pinedale). Follow US-191 South for 5.7 miles. Right before you get into Hoback Canyon, you will see a left hand turn into a lookout area. Park here. Walk down the trail towards the river and you will find yourself at the boulder.

From Pinedale: Take US 191 North for 58 miles. It will be a right hand turn right before you get out of the canyon.
