| Any places that are going to have good conditions in early March? I have about a week off and looking to climb some. Coming from ND so I have a good weather tollerance. Looking to climb trad sport and/or boulder. Also looking for partners. Lead about 5.10c trad/sport boulder about V4. Thanks in advance. Clay | FLAG |

| Sinks Canyon is generally thought to be the best winter crag in Wyoming. Good sun exposure, and oftentimes benefits from an inversion that makes the canyon warmer than town. That said, it is still very iffy there in March. A cloud and a bit of wind could easily turn things pretty arctic, and snow is very much a possibility. Winter is Sinks is a great resrouce for locals, but probably not relaible enough for a road trip. If you drive a bit further south to CO, you early-spring options open up a lot. Shelf Road offers a ton of climbing in the grade range you are looking for, has great camping, and is usually quite good in early spring. It can still be cold/snowy, but your odds are much better than in WY. | FLAG |

| I would defiantly agree with sinks canyon, tons of sport routes all over the with some sandstone and granite trad also. Theres also alot of good limestone bouldering at the base of the main wall as well as moss cave and over by bruces parking area with alot of good granite problems. As long as the sun is out on the wall it can be in the lower teens and still be comfortable climbing but as said before it can be a little hit or miss | FLAG |

| Good looking out, thanks for the info. Looks like CO will be the way to go. I'll be making another through WY in early May on the way west, likely better conditions then? Clay | FLAG |

| With this winter, early May might be really nice in Vedauwoo. Devils Tower would probably be a great choice in early May. Wild Iris will be a crapshoot, but it might simply be a snow drift in the trees below the OK Corral, so if you don't mind hiking your camping gear in, its just about the perfect time to be there. Since most of the good camping in Ten Sleep is along the old highway, snow can be a serious problem, so get condition reports before you head there. Its definitely worth the visit when its good though. | FLAG |
