Fifi Buttress To Close! MORE INFO >>> The following areas are closed to all visitor use to protect peregrine falcon aeries from March 1 until August 1 of each year or until the young falcons of the current year have fledged: Fifi Buttress Immediately west of Leaning Tower. Closure includes all routes on Fifi Buttress. This information is a public crowdsourcing effort between the Access Fund, and Mountain Project. Wood Yard Arete

Description 

This small area has several easy to moderates problems. Dogwood V12 is also located here. It is a good place to end the day on your way out of the park.

There are two main areas here, each with 2 boulders that has all the problems on it.

Getting There 

Drive out of the Valley.

For Wood Yard East, park at the dirt pullout on the right ~0.7 miles after the El Cap Bridge (El Capitan Drive). You can see the boulders from the pullout. Hike up the dirt road.

For Wood Yard West, park at the paved pullout on the left next to the river ~1.0 mile after the El Cap Bridge. Hike back up the road behind you and you will see the boulders shortly to the left.

You can easily approach either area from either parking spots too.
