This area is not visited often but has a few great routes. I think many people walk by and never know that there is climbing here. Warming up on Thrombus and Mickey Mantles and then having some fun on the harder cracks makes for a great afternoon.
Getting There
Take the trail down along the river from the stone parapet along the road. This area will be on your right about half way down. Don't go too far or you will miss it; if you get to flat ground you have gone too far. Set up an anchor with the wide cracks (hexes are handy) and trees (long webbing) and rappel in. The easiest route to rappel on is Mickey Mantles; look for the ledges. There is a walk-in/out from the bouldering area down river when the water is at normal or lower levels.
The Classics

They're coming! Have to find them on my external hard drive. The picture on the main WI Interstate Park page is a nice view of this area from across the river in MN.
